How much does a move in Warsaw cost? What affects the price
Two flats of the same size can cost very different amounts to move. Here is what actually drives the price — and how to get a quote you can rely on.

What the price depends on
- Volume — how many cubic metres the van carries. It matters more than the number of rooms.
- Floors and lifts — carrying down four floors without a lift takes far longer than using a lift.
- Distance — within Warsaw it is mostly time in traffic; outside the city it is kilometres.
- Packing — whether you pack yourself or we bring the boxes, wrapping and crew.
- Special items — piano, safe, aquarium, large artwork or gym equipment.
- Date — Fridays, month-ends and summer weekends fill up first.
Where people overpay
Most surprises come from what was not mentioned: a narrow staircase, no parking near the entrance, a wardrobe that has to be taken apart. A two-minute note about these saves an hour on the day.
How to get an accurate quote
- Arrange a live video call or an on-site visit so we can assess what needs to be moved.
- Tell us the floor and whether there’s a lift at each address.
- List anything heavy or fragile.
- Give one preferred date and one backup.
